Yunnan large natural gas storage facilities to achieve "zero breakthrough"
On July 6, according to news from the Yunnan Provincial Energy Bureau, two emergency gas source reserve center projects in Yunnan were completed a few days ago and entered the commissioning stage. Yunnan's large-scale natural gas storage facilities have emerged from scratch, achieving a "zero breakthrough".
In accordance with the requirements of "building two emergency gas source reserve centers" put forward in the work report of Yunnan Province in 2023, the Provincial Energy Bureau, together with relevant provincial departments and relevant prefectures and cities, actively promote the provincial energy investment group to speed up the construction of Yuxi and Qujing emergency gas source reserve centers. Qujing Emergency Gas Source Reserve Center Project is located in Huashan District, Zhanyi Industrial Park, Qujing City. The construction content of the project is to set up a 30000 cubic meter storage tank (effective volume) with a gas storage capacity of 18 million cubic meters and a gasification scale of 1 million cubic meters per day. Yuxi Emergency Gas Reserve Center Project is located in Dahua Industrial Park, Eshan County, Yuxi City, relying on the construction of Yuxi-Pu'er Natural Gas Branch Pipeline Phase I Project (Yuxi-Eshan-Hualian).
At present, the above two emergency gas source reserve center projects have been completed, forming a gas storage capacity of 36 million cubic meters, becoming a "ballast stone" to ensure the stable supply of gas in Yunnan Province, and effectively improving the province's energy security level.
